Tim Tebow Could Use Kettlebell Exercises in His Workout Routine

By Greg Diener

After facing a hard loss in the playoffs to New England, there are many answers that Tim Tebow needs to look at to improve his play. The biggest question he needs to look at is the issue with his throwing arm, where many people think needs a lot of refinement. In football in order to be successful you have to throw the ball very far across the field and that is something Tebow has struggled with in the past. Perhaps one idea to improve his performance could reside in kettlebells.

Kettle bell weights, the metal weights with handles that are credited as a Russian invention, might be a faultless way for Tebow to work on his overall strength and treatment. The ancient Greeks and Romans employed similar weights. Even Chinese monks used padlock weights in much the same way as kettlebells are made use of.

When Tebow attempts to get back to work on his duties, he should have a lot of time to be able to have workouts. Tebow could get the maximum strength from using kettlebells on a frequent basis. While kettlebells won't do much to help out in the agility aspect, he will be able to burn a lot of calories improving his conditioning. He will have a lot of speed and agility while completing his workout very fast, giving him plenty of time to focus on his game for that week.

Even if Tebow goes home and only works out a few times a week with the kettlebells, he'll still be burning calories in his rest due to the afterburn effect. This effect burns calories so efficiently that if Tebow chooses to bury his sadness in ice cream or cake, he possibly won't gain additional weight because of the kettlebell afterburn affect.

This football fan was very sad to see Tebow lose against the Patriots. But maybe this will end up to be a good challenge for him. He can take his time getting into better shape than ever before, growing his resilience, and come back hungrier. If Tebow Nation wants to contribute to their favorite quarterback's safety, they should send him some kettlebells. At least it'll be something new, to keep him busy.
