Why Celeb Diet Plans In Glossy Magazines Do Not Work

By Howe Russ

Today we answer the question so many people ask in the gym. Why do celeb diets never work? Why do you always seem to never lose any weight no matter how hard you work? Today we put these myths to bed for you and help you get some actual results in the gym.

Be honest, we all know at least one friend who constantly gets sucked in by the latest routine printed in this month's chat magazine. It's hard not to, what with the instant results they claim and the fact that they have attached a famous person's photograph to conjure up images of how you will look next month if you follow their routine, right?

It's common that folks will become addicted to the search for the 'miracle pill' which will allow them to get instant, zero effort results. That's where these guys make their money at your expense, or rather the fact that you may be a tad naive. There are simple common attributes these routines always feature:

* People experience some weight loss for the first one or two weeks before hitting a wall, unable to shift another lb no matter how hard they work at it.

* Despite losing some weight they often look and feel ill.

* Piling the excess pounds straight back on the second we go back to eating regular food again, often leaving us more overweight than when we started.

Today we will show you the reasons why these things happen.

As well as forcing you to ditch your favorite junk foods you'll often be asked to live on very basic, unappealing meals which drive you to the edge of your sanity. Couple this with the huge mistake of forcing you to drop your calories too far each day and it's a recipe for disaster.

When you drop your calories by this much you force your body into a starvation mode, where it stores as much energy as it can. Indeed, even though you may be practically starving yourself you are actually storing more fat from each meal than you used to when you were eating what you liked.

When you are in this zone it becomes impossible to shift any more weight.

What's more you will notice that you pile all of the weight you lost straight back on when your diet plan finishes. This is a combination of the effect we just discussed and the fact that the routine is usually focused around a very short, almost instantaneous weight loss goal.

Time for some facts. When you are dieting properly you should not feel ill or deprived. You do not need to stop eating your favorite foods you simply need to be taught how to moderate them. We have helped countless men and women lose a ton of weight, none of whom had to stop eating junk food or cutting themselves away from nights out on the town. There is an entire culture out there prepared to take your hard earned cash with promises of easy success though, IF you are prepared to keep letting them do so.
