Source Of Confidence To Defend Others Against Peril

By Wanda F Megyese

I imagined being the target of molesters was traumatic. Being rescued by Ed turned into something even more so. And what was it he so effortlessly utilized versus my assailants? A Knuckle Blaster stun device, I think he mentioned to me eventually. There was my childhood buddy, constantly the butt of jokes when we were still small, now saving damsels in distress.

I do not know the moment Ed stumbled on stun weapons. For sure, these appealed to him because they were non-lethal and left no permanent damage. Discomfort, muscle spasms as well as disorientation, all effects of being in contact with these self-defense guns, were just momentary to be able to offer victims time to get away. The very first time Ed used one, he almost went into shock himself.

Stick-thin while a young boy, he has added a couple of pounds. However it is the air of confidence that is most evident in my buddy. Real life wizened him. He sought for strategies to protect himself against bullies. That was exactly how he ended up with stun weapons.

He began with a low voltage stun device so the effect was more gentle. Seeing how this saved him the first time, he learned to be at ease with his own protective weapon. Several years later, his own gadget of choice is a knuckle stun gun.

This looks as scary as brass knuckles yet is made from soft rubber skin to cushion the knuckles as the stun device is put on. However this one isn't for punching. Three seconds of contact on susceptible areas of the body can knock someone down due to a loss of balance.

This is made for any hand size and the integrated safety switch is readily reached by the thumb. Like Ed, he just fired one-handed, aiming at the shoulder of one enemy who just slumped due to shock and pain.

The next got caught on the tummy and, with 950,000 volts of power, staggered back. Ed helped me up and we went away.

Thank God for the Knuckle Blaster stun gun, just my pride is in tatters. Ed is my new hero.
